Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Full-Stack PHP Developer for a full-time remote position. As a Full-Stack PHP Developer at Appion Solutions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cloud-based Apprenticeship Program Management Platform. This involves crafting both front-end and back-end components to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Collaboration with diverse teams will be essential to align platform development with business objectives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, displaying self-motivation and a passion for innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in PHP and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Materialize
  • Mastery of object-oriented programming paradigms and adeptness in implementing design patterns.
  • Experience in front-end development including HTML5/CSS, jQuery, and ReactJS
  • Competence in back-end development and MVC frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter
  • Understanding of RESTful API Design
  • Skilled in MySQL, including database design and optimization
  • Proficiency in Git and Github workflows
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline, or a demonstrated track record of equivalent expertise and accomplishments.
  • Prior experience in cloud-based application development preferred
  • Knowledge of AWS Elastic Beanstalk is a plus
